Recipe of the week


Hummus


This one is a staple and firm favourite. Again you can substitute the sprouted chickpeas for a tin of chickpeas.


  1. 500g sprouted chickpea

  2. 100g light tahini

  3. Juice of 2-3 lemons

  4. 2 cloves garlic

  5. 50-100g extra virgin olive oil

  6. A little water

  7. Sea salt

  8. Cracked black pepper


Method

Blend the sprouted chickpeas in a food processor. Add tahini, lemon, sea salt, cracked pepper and olive oil until desired consistency is reached.
